A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Town Hall.  Notice was posted at Beaver Creek Reserve, Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- Seymour, Gordy’s County Market and at www.townofseymour.orgunder “Agendas”.

Board members present were Douglas Kranig, Chair; Sheila Running, Supervisor; and Gary Schulenberg, Supervisor.  Also present were Miranda Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer; Sue Larson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer; and 6 area residents.

Chair Kranig called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the September 8th Board Meeting minutes as presented.  Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded.  Motion carried 3-0.

Miranda Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer, gave report.

GENERAL PUBLIC:

NEW BUSINESS:  

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Archery Hunting and Archery Practice Permit for Dale Larson at 3902 Woodland Court. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Schulenberg made a Motion to approve the Archery Hunting and Archery Practice Permit for Pat Forrest at 3812 Tower Drive. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Schulenberg made a Motion to approve the Archery Hunting and Archery Practice Permit for Jacob Pipito at 1851 McKinley Road. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Archery Hunting Permit for Wanda Summer at 1661 McKinley Road. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Robin and Regan Chapiesky came before the Board to discuss the private shooting range at their residence. See Attached Documentation.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Eau Claire County Recycling Special Charge for $12 per household to be put on the tax roll. Chair Kranig Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to transfer $87,592.50 of Road Equipment Depreciation Committed Funds from the LGIP to the Town of Seymour’s working capital-checking account to pay for the Peterbilt Truck. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

The Board discussed the 2015 Budget and will continue the budget work session at the next regular Board Meeting.

COMMUNICATIONS

VOUCHERS 30948 to 30954 and 30956 to 30993.

The next regular board meeting date was set for Monday, October 6, 2014 at 7:00 PM.

Chair Kranig made a Motion to adjourn at 8:55 PM.

The minutes were taken at the Board Meeting of the Town of Seymour held on the 24th day of September, 2014 and entered this Record Book the 26th day of September, 2014.
