A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Town Hall. Notice was posted at Beaver Creek Reserve, Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- Seymour, Gordy’s County Market and at www.townofseymour.orgunder “Agendas”.
Board members present were Sheila Running, Supervisor and Gary Schulenberg, Supervisor. Chair Douglas Kranig arrived at 7:20 p.m. Also present were Miranda Kuhn, Clerk/Treasurer; Sue Larson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, and Kerry Parker, Roads & Buildings Supervisor.
Supervisor Schulenberg called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Supervisor Running made a motion to approve the May 19th Board Meeting minutes as presented. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
Kerry Parker, Roads & Buildings Supervisor gave report. Parker indicated that Burnell Dr. had been damaged by a resident of the Town of Seymour while the road bans were in place. Parker indicated that the road had been repaired with cold mix and the resident agreed to pay the bill.
Parker informed the Board that the Ball Club replaced the pump at the recreational building.
Parker also informed the Board that Black Avenue will be torn up by the new Kwik Trip for utilities. Parker also indicated that the City of Eau Claire had not yet put an overlay on McKinley Road as per the agreement for allowing a detour to go through the Town of Seymour in 2013.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the 2 year renewal license for Cozy Acres Mobile Village, LLC. Superivsor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the tree removal on Peterson Avenue provided $4,000 is to be paid in 2014 and the second half is billed in 2015.
Chair Kranig made a Motion to purchase a Peterbilt Chassis for $87,518.00 and a Universal Box for $63,854.00, totaling $151,372.00. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0 and 1 abstained.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to transfer $1,681 from the Parks and Recreation Committed Funds to our working capital account in order to purchase a bleacher. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Chair Kranig made a Motion to purchase slide for $1,605.05 to replace slide that was damaged by vandalism. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Chair Kranig made a Motion to adjourn at 8:23 p.m.
