A special meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held on March 29, 2012, at the Town Hall. Notice was posted at Beaver Creek Reserve, Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1 - Seymour, Gordy’s County Market, and at www.townofseymour.orgunder “Agendas”.
Board members present were Douglas Kranig, Chair; and Sheila Running, Supervisor. Also present was Glenda Lyons, Clerk/Treasurer; Kerry Parker, Roads and Buildings Supervisor; and 2 general public. Absent was Supervisor Schulenberg.
Chair Kranig called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was dispensed.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to award the Asphalt paving to Senn Blacktop for projects #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9. Monarch awarded for projects #7, 8, and 10. Chair Kranig Seconded.
Motion Carried 2-0.
Chair Kranig made a Motion to award the Basecourse bid to Stelter Inc. for all road projects at $9.95/yd and to award Haas Sons, Inc the parking lot and stock pile at $9.90/yd. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to award the Pulverizing and Grinding bids to The Kraemer Co. Chair Kranig Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0.
Chair Kranig made a Motion to award the Cracksealing bid to Farhner Ashpalt Sealers. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to award Line Painting bid to Fahrner Ashpalt Sealers. Chair Kranig Seconded. Motion Carried 2-0.
Supervisor Running made a Motion to adjourn meeting at 6:19 p.m.
The Minutes were taken at the Board Meeting of the Town of Seymour held on the 29th day of March, 2012 and entered into this Record Book the 30th day of March, 2012.
