A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held on October 5th, 2010, at the Town Hall.  Notice was posted at Beaver Creek Reserve, Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1 - Seymour, Gordy’s County Market, and at www.townofseymour.orgunder “Agendas”.

Board members present were Douglas Kranig, Chair; Gary Schulenberg, Supervisor; and Sheila Running, Supervisor.  Also present was Glenda Lyons, Clerk/Treasurer; Jo-Ann Martin, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer; Kerry Parker, Roads and Buildings Supervisor; 4 residents.

Chair Kranig called the meeting to order at 6:59 p.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 

Supervisor Schulenberg made a Motion to approve the Minutes of the Board Meeting held September 21, 2010 as presented.  Chair Kranig Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.

Kerry Parker gave roads and buildings report.  Kerry submitted his three year road plan and his 2011 budget line items proposal.  Currently 150th Ave is scheduled to be paved on October 12.

GENERAL PUBLIC– none

OLD BUSINESS–

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Gun Hunting, Archery Hunting and Practice Archery permits for Robert Bennett.  Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Archery permit for Kurt Heimstead.  Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the Archery permit for Michael Jungerberg.  Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.

Chair Kranig made a Motion to approve the Gun Hunting, Archery Hunting and Practice Archery permits for Merlin Woodley.  Supervisor Running Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.

NEW BUSINESS– CUP – none

Chair Kranig made a Motion to approve the 2011 & 2012 Assessment Contract with Bowmar Appraisal Inc for $27,900 ($13,800 for 2011 and $14,100 for 2012).  Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded.  Motion Carried 3-0.
