TOWN OF SEYMOUR BOARD MEETING Vol. 23 Page 3

A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held on March 2, 2010, at the Town Hall. Notice was posted at Beaver Creek Reserve, Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1 - Seymour, Gordy’s County Market, and at www.townofseymour.org under “Agendas”.

Board members present were Douglas Kranig, Chair; Sheila Running, Supervisor; and Gary Schulenberg, Supervisor. Also present was Glenda Lyons, Clerk/Treasurer; and Jo-Ann Martin, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer; Kerry Parker, Roads and Buildings Supervisor; Fred Hankel, Building Inspector; and 3 residents.

Chair Kranig called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Supervisor Schulenberg made a Motion to approve the Minutes of the Board Meeting held February 2, 2010. Supervisor Running Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Kerry Parker reported on roads, the fire station damage and road bid proposal. Bids to be opened on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7pm. Bids to be awarded on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.

Fred Hankel reported on Building Inspection.

GENERAL PUBLIC – Fred Howard spoke about the water issues around his garage.
OLD BUSINESS - none
NEW BUSINESS – CUP – none

No action required: Chippewa Valley Model A Club - decided to not rent the hall. Fox Run special event - did not attend meeting. Coyote issue – residents requesting did not attend meeting.

Chair Kranig made a Motion to approve the 2010 Archery practice permit for Charles Grossklaus. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Supervisor Running made a Motion to approve the 2010 contract with the City of Eau Claire for ambulance service in the amount of $2,570. Supervisor Schulenberg Seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Chair Kranig will be drafting letters to the residents with driveway monuments in the right of way.

Street lights requests were all denied at this time.
